This pier is holding up a house. It's difficult to see in the picture, but the block is cracked and very unstable.

This was a new construction inspection, where the dryer roof vent did not connect to the roof. We caught this issue before it became a problem, but see below.

This is what happens when the dryer vent is not connected at the roof, the lint just collects all over the attic. A hazardous situation, a real and present safety concern. This homeowner did not have a Final Inspection on his new home, but luckily had a One Year Warranty Inspection before placing his house for sale. We found the problem, and he corrected it by having the vent professionally cleaned and then correctly attached. Love it when a plan comes together!

This is one heck of a roof leak, but it was not visible from the exterior.

Do plumbers get paid by the fitting?

Wow! Didn't this installer know that water and electricity don't mix? Those wires should be placed in conduit in case those compression fittings ever spring a leak!

This was one busy little rodent!
