Are you already an experienced home inspector who would like to
join the HomePro team of professionals? Then we are looking for
you!
I N S P E C T O R S N
E E D E D!
HomePro Inspections is actively searching for the right professional
to join our team of home inspectors. We are especially interested
in licensed Electrical contractors, licensed HVAC contractors, and
other licensed tradespeople. We also have interest in a home inspector
who speaks a foreign language, especially Spanish.
As
a leader in the home inspection industry, HomePro continually recruits
and trains candidates who share our commitment to quality and customer
service. The ideal candidate for home inspector is a bright articulate
person who enjoys working with people.
There are no one-day inspectors here! All of our professionals
have completed extensive classroom training, read the books, completed
the ride along training, and successfully passed the ASHI, FABI,
and NACHI exams. To be considered a HomePro candidate, you MUST
at a MINIMUM:
- have a background in residential construction, the building
trades, engineering, or some other technical/construction-related
discipline (a trade license is HIGHLY preferred).
- have familiarity and knowledge of basic real estate sales practices.
- be a comforting and capable communicator, who can present complex
technical information to a group of people (buyers, sellers, and
realtors), who have conflicting needs and perspectives, all at
a time of high anxiety.
After becoming a HomePro candidate, you should expect to complete
the following MINIMUMS to move towards becoming a HomePro Inspector:
- Complete a minimum of one week of local classroom training.
- Successfully complete all testing and requirements for ASHI
Certification, including passing the National
Home Inspectors Exam and the Standards
and Ethics Exam.
- Successfully complete all testing and requirements for membership
in FABI.
- Successfully complete all testing and requirements for membership
in NACHI.
- Complete at least 50-60 ride along inspections with members
of our HomePro Team.
If you feel that you meet the first three requirements above
for becoming a HomePro candidate inspector, please email your resume
along with a cover letter to Tonya Stokes at tonya@gohomepro.com
for consideration.
